    ABOUT QAAHE
    ACCREDITATION

    What Is Accreditation?

  • Accreditation is a nongovernmental and voluntary process that consists of a rigorous external review of a school, university or institute’s ability to provide the best quality programs of highest standards.

The accreditation process is a complete review of educational institute’s mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and the processes which include self-evaluations, peer-reviews, committee reviews, and the development of in-depth strategic plans. Accreditation ensures that students are learning the most relevant material to their field of study, preparing them to be effective future leaders upon graduation.

QAAHE challenges education providers to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their educational programs.

Understanding QAAHE Accreditation

Educational institutes are looking for ways to enhance their credibility and increase recognition by improving the standards of the education being delivered to the students. They want to see their graduates working at well reputed organizations. This is all possible when your institute is accredited by known accrediting bodies such as QAAHE.

Our evaluation members are skilled professionals who have designed rigorous evaluation standards that are to be approved by the business industry. When an institute approaches for QAAHE accreditation, it goes through the strict evaluation process and accreditation will be provided if the institute is up to the quality standards of education being provided. Moreover, we also come up with the guidelines for designing curriculum and degree programs. A set of quality based values and concepts will bring your institute to a higher level of excellence.

QAAHE accreditation allows you to provide the best education to the students who want to move ahead in the competitive job market with a specialized set of skills and knowledge.

Why Accreditation Matters?

Many institutes and universities claim to be ‘accredited,’ the question arises, by whom? Not every accrediting body is recognized and it is really important to understand the type of accreditation the school or university holds. The best way to know about any accrediting body is through the government or the educational ministry where the school is located. You must make sure if you plan to begin your academic or professional career in a different country, you must determine that the accrediting body you’re school or university is associated with, is recognized internationally.

Types of Accreditation

Institutional accreditation is a complete analysis of the entire university or school, and is usually done by a country’s national or regional accrediting body. The national agencies perform an in-depth review of the entire university, from its operating budgets to its student services provided.

Depending on the location of the school or university, it must be approved by the relevant agencies to grant degrees and be considered legit in the country. Mostly, institutional accreditation is maintained and the school or university is reviewed every few years.

Once a university earns institutional accreditation, it can take its accreditation to a step further and earn ‘specialized’ or ‘professional’ accreditations. Specialized reviews are done by non-governmental, private agencies that hold knowledge of a particular field of study.

Specialized accreditation interacts with other universities, potential employers, and the general public that the university’s programs in a particular field have passed a rigorous assessment and are trust-worthy. Specialized accreditation also must be maintained.

Specialized accreditation affects students to find employment, transfer between universities and pursue additional degrees at other institutions. However, all specialized accreditations aren’t the same. Some are recognized locally while others are known globally

Accreditation brings value and recognition to everything affiliated along with. It is a proof that the accredited entity has met certain benchmark and can be trusted for their services and roles on an international level.
